Designed and managed the implementation of a new SharePoint 2013 portal style guide.
This was strictly a 6 month contract in which I had to update the AHA 2013 SharePoint portal including internal applications to a similar look and feel. I also provided AHA developers with a style guide that included specifications for both Microsoft InfoPath and Microsoft Visual Studio. I mocked up a total site design, new application design, proposed new custom web parts and presented the materials to upper management.

Built custom SharePoint 2007 pages and methodologies for interacting with data.
A typical project at Control Point Corp. started with working with the customer to create the requirements document. From there, I would work with the .NET Developers to design the basic architecture and user interface. Based on that, I would create the initial static user interface mockups. I would revise the mockups with a series of reviews until we had final mockups. I would then create static HTML with CSS and JavaScript styling. The .NET developers would integrate the static HTML into the development environment with their ASP code. I would finish styling the master pages and .aspx pages with CSS and HTML. While the application testing continued I would create printed training materials and user guides. The application would launch with full documentation and training support.

AMD has multiple channels of customers and I was responsible for creating web ready art. On the customer side, AMD utilized SharePoint to manage content, content deployment and publishing site pages. Internally SharePoint was used to manage web metrics and project management. In addition to creating web ready art, I was involved with a number of site channel makeovers, including but not limited to Gaming and Professional Graphics.

Portal Dynamics was a contractor for the US Military. In the 7 years I worked there, I was responsible for creating Army, Navy and Marine's public websites for which I managed the project from concept to completion. I customized SharePoint 2007 and 2010 Team site portals and advised on UX best practices. For 5 years I was responsible for creating all printed and multimedia assets involved in the Marines DOD Maintenance Symposium Tradeshows. These included the main video, banners and take away materials printed and CD-ROMs . I created the concepts, and oversaw the creation of custom tradeshow booths used at 3 of the 5 shows. I also supported the official staff by created many different presentations for Army Colonels, Majors and Executive Officers for use in official DOD projects.
