Abstract: GE Commercial Finance is one of General Electric's largest "growth engines" with Lending Products, Growth Capital, Revolving lines of Credit, Equipment Leasing of every Kind, Cash Flow Programs, Asset Financing, and more. GE Commercial Finance plays a key role for client businesses all across the world. Hyperion is implemented in all of the GE COMFIN businesses (CFS, CAP, EFS, HFS, GECAS, CFA and CSE), with all business reporting to CFC (Corporate).

Role: Hyperion SME Team

Hyperion SME is the Hyperion Infrastructure Support team in GE that provides 24/7 support on Hyperion Applications across the GE COMFIN domain. The team consists of six members (5 offshore, 1 onsite support). Currently the SME (Subject Matter Expert) team supports nine businesses across GE Comfin.

Responsibilities:

• Mastered high level trouble shooting of all the infrastructural activities related to Hyperion products (Hyperion Essbase, Planning, EAS, Reports, Analyzer, Hyperroll, HAL)
• Individually handled many outages (planned as well as unplanned) like reboot of all the servers which happens on every third fiscal week, day light savings, os patches etc.
• Pioneer (in the team) in preparing proper SOP’s for all the Hyperion infrastructural activities (migrations, DR process, access related issues, automations using Appworx)
• Played a pivotal role in installation and upgradation of Hyperion Essbase, Reports, HAL between different environments for CFA, CAPSOL, CSE business.
