Job Description:
DevOps/Cloud Engineer for a contract-to-hire opportunity in the DC area. Falls Church client is looking to bring on a DevOps Engineer to establish, configure, automate and support a variety of computer environments. An Engineer that is well versed in Linux (load balancing / set-up / security) and AWSto help with ongoing development initiatives will be best suited for this opportunity.

Responsibilities:
- Establish, configure, automate, and support dev environments.
- Work closely with Senior Management.
- Use wide variety of open source techs and cloud services.
- Support multi-tier Dev, QA, Prod environments.
- Managing Windows and Linux / Unix servers.
- OS patches & upgrades.
- Perform periodic performance reporting / tuning / hardware upgrades.
Must haves:
- Strong Linux/Unix Scripting.
- AWS.
- Cloud Automation .
- Configuration Management Tools (Chef / Puppet).
- Security.
- Bash or Shell scripting.
