Description:
  • Install software products, applications, and database systems in non-production as well as production environments.
  • Deploy software technology solutions to ensure technical software support.
  • Work closely with technical teams to enhance the quality of existing products.
  • Interact with customers and resolve technical issues.
  • Manage and monitor customers' expectations.
  • Maintain and refresh product support database.
  • Create, track and update support tasks in JIRA
  • Initiate and implement product support procedures, processes and standards.
  • Build strong relationships and partner with business partners related to this program
  • Participate in strategic team and enterprise initiatives for legal reporting and product support
  • Preparation of documentation for deliverables, ensure appropriate prioritization, status reporting, escalation and closure of outstanding issues
  • Develop health monitoring metrics around all facets of data domains
  • Review metrics and decipher their usability from the risk and /or the performance angle
Required Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of experience in product support activities and bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
  • Experience with enterprise database technologies (data storage, data movement, and data access etc.) and business intelligence tools
  • Experience utilizing software such as Oracle, Informatica, Cognos etc.
  • Experience working with products in the financial services industry
  • Experience implementing policies, procedures, processes and compliance related to platform support and management.
  • Experience building consensus and gaining buy-in and addressing complex issues within highly matrixed organization
  • Knowledge and understanding of SQL and other scripting languages.
