Position Functions or Responsibilities:
- Create & assist in Test Strategy and Test planning
- Requirement Gathering, Understands software requirements and get clarifications
- Understands and follow the master test plan and/ or the project plan
- Create test cases based on the requirements, test scenarios and other design documents
- Creates test data required for testing and configures the required test beds.
- Test Execution and Validation
- Test Result documentation and defect management.
- Test Management
- Guide and advise testers and work as SME for testing team
- Status Reporting
- Update test cases based on the discovered defects/issues
- Provides input to the team in order to improve the overall testing process
Qualifications:
- 7-9 years of experience working in Software Testing.
- Four year college degree in a business related discipline
- In depth knowledge of Healthcare payer business, claims processing and benefit configuration.
- Understand Medical Claims processing systems ex. Facets, LRSP, Xcelys etc.
- Good to have knowledge of Pega Product Composer System (PCS) and HealthCare Industry Foundation Frameworks (HCIF).
- Hands on experience on claims testing both using online portal/application and using batch processing.
- Experience in testing business process modeling or workflow
- Has expert knowledge of the service interface and ETL Testing.
- Knowledge of COBOL would be plus.
- Experience in any of the RDBMS tools like Oracle, DB2 or Sybase is must
- Ability to collaborate with a team of senior developers, testers and architects
- Experience in Agile and Scrum methodologies and tools
- Proven experience in all phases of software development including design, configuration, testing, debugging, implementation, and support of large-scale, business centric and process based applications
Basic Qualifications:
- 7-9 years of experience working in Software Testing.
- Four year college degree in a business related discipline
- Must be local or willing to relocate to the Reston, VA area
- Prior experience working on any of the Pega Healthcare frameworks/products (PCS/HCIF)
- Expertise in Claims Testing and Benefit configuration testing.
- Expertise in writing SQL Query.
- Prior experience in Claims Testing using Online and batch processing and validation.
- Knowledge of MS office products and HP ALM.
- Well versed with Healthcare Payer terminology
- Strong technical leadership and expert consultative and communications skills.
