Client is seeking a Power BI Consultant with at least 5 years experience in BI and Analytics and 1-2 years in the following primary skills:
- MS Power BI Desktop/Service (1+ year at least )
- SQL Server Analysis Service-Tabular(2 years)
- DAX /Power Query (1 year)
- Dimensional modeling
- Data Warehouse (Kimball)
- T-SQL
The right candidate will also have strong knowledge of Data Management, Business Intelligence and Analytics concepts (ETL, Data Lake, Data Governance/MDM, Data Quality, etc), as well as, strong knowledge of MSBI stack (PowerBI, SSIS/SSAS/SSRS)
Daily duties will include:
- Work with an agile delivery team to iteratively design, build and implement a BI service in collaboration with a Business and Tech Lead
- Ensure that all relevant aspects of data model (granularity, etc.) are considered
- Apply technical expertise managing and maintaining the BI environment
- Work independently/collaboratively as needed
- Able to prioritize ongoing project work with new tasks
- Responsible for the development and support of reports.
