Technology Architect - US – Istio/zuul/3scale, Open Shift, Kubernetes Architect
As a Technology Architect, will significantly contribute to identifying best-fit architectural solutions for one or more projects; develop design of application, provide regular support/guidance to project teams on complex coding, issue resolution and execution.
Technical Skills – Strong experience in Istio/zuul/3scale, Open Shift, Kubernetes, designing & managing Microservices, API management.
Qualifications Basic
- Minumum Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required. Will also consider three year of relevant work experience in lieu of every year of education
- At least 14 years of experience with Information Technology
- Work closely with the application SMEs and other stakeholders from client team to gather migration requirements, understand current application landscape/architecture and present recommendations for target disposition
- Preparing solution and architectural documentation that will be reviewed and approved by peers and relevant stakeholders.
- Work with project manager to arrive at release plan.
- Provide guidance to project team in various activities like application assessment, code remediation, build & deploy, testing and production release.
- Highlight blockers or dependencies to the project managers and other stakeholders and ensure that any changes to requirements impacting the solution architecture are called out immediately.
- Provide updates on project activities and status to project managers and other relevant stakeholders
- Preferred
- At least 10+ years of experience in the Information technology field.
- At least 10+ years’ experience in Java based application development and expertise in API Management.
- Extensive experience and well versed in Istio/zuul/3scale, Open Shift, Kubernetes, designing & managing Microservices.
- Interact with different consumers and participates in project requirements discussion
- Provides technical solutions to the business and regulatory requirements and does requirement elicitation.
- Ensures quality and timelines of implementation activities related to Design, build, implementation and testing of the requirements.
- Strong understanding and implementation of web/integration architecture (Rest/ Web services) with exp on multiple platforms.
- Sound understanding plus hands on experience of applicable build/deployment tools. Should be able to help team in fixing build/deployment issues.
- Sound debugging skills. Should be able to provide guidance to team in fixing complex issues.
- At least 4 years of experience in release planning and project execution with adherence to strict timelines.
- Assign and review the work product implementation Participates in coding & reviews and provides timely feedback.
