Job Description:  UI Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Work in an Agile environment.
• Improve our styling architecture to make it more maintainable and globally shareable with a number of different clients. This includes style guide, global components (think “internal bootstrap”) and more.
• Collaborate with the development teams in creation of new UIs to ensure the UI meets our standards.
• Collaborate with the  creative and UX teams in the development of ad-hoc landing pages as part of brand campaigns.
• Maintain awareness of industry trends and emergent technologies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, related field or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years’ experience developing front end for multi-tiered enterprise-grade web applications using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and JQuery.
• Strong working knowledge of Angular 4.
• Strong working knowledge of Typescript.
• Strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards.
• Strong understanding of RESTful web services.
• Understanding of Relational DBMS, ability to write SQL queries.
• Understanding of OO concepts.
• Grasp of Responsive Design is a nice to have: knowledge of state management via Redux or NGRX.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience in graphics and design a plus.
