Responsibilities:
- This individual will be responsible for doing system analysis, design, development and documentation for existing mainframe UCPS COBOL/JCL/CICS modules
- System Analysis, documentation of use cases, B2Bs etc.
- Coding and design
- Code reviews with other team leads
- Functional testing
- Working with business/ product owners on requirements analysis
- Work on fixing defects/enhancing code
- Cobol, CICS, JCL, DB2 - 5 or more years of experience
- Mainframe experience
- Previous system analysis and development work
- Previous technical lead work
- Ability to read and interpret code
- Ability to clearly document analysis and design in non-technical terms
- Highly organized
- Able to coordinate and multi-task
- Ability to dig in and research
- Great people skills (needs to facilitate meetings)
- Knowledge and experience with the 837 and/or 835 processes
- May include off hours work - evening and/or weekend.
