Must Have Skills

Experience of 5+ years in Windows Server Build and application deployment
Experience in areas such as Windows Administration (2008/2012, Security, Net backup, load balancers, IIS, Microsoft SQL servers)
VMware/Citrix 6.5 knowledge
Knowledge of Change Management / ITIL processes
Understanding of hardware components such as HP blade, HP ProLiant
Windows server administration experience with good exposure with Logical volume Manager
Good knowledge of VMWARE & related products
Performance tuning
Root cause analysis and Problem management
Fair knowledge of networking, TCP, UDP, RPC etc.
Disk Management, User management.
Experience on application deployment, configuration

Skills Desirable:

Scripting knowledge
Installation / configuration /migration /deployment/ tuning of Enterprise Applications using
WebSphere Application server 6.0/5.0/4.0
Good communication and customer facing skills
Understand solutions/alternatives to customer proposed solution for environment setup and
suggest changes
Knowledge on MS Visio/MS PowerPoint
Designs backup policies, procedures & schedules based on best practice & customer request.
