- Knowing the available MSPS configuration options and understanding the effects of configurations are essential to this role. The ability to talk through options with the business and then the ability to do some of the configurations are key qualifications.
- Assisting the business administrators with occasional tweaking of group settings or permissions, resource and user management, addition of custom fields, or other simple settings from within the Project Server web administration screen are necessary
- This would be a semi-technical role; the person should be comfortable with doing the low-level type of SharePoint/Project Server configuration tasks that are currently available to our business area leads. Understanding the effects of various configurations, and knowing the options available, is important in discussion with the business regarding their wishes and how we can meet those needs and is the most important qualification.

- Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis.
- Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
- Proactively communicate and collaborate with the business to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver artifacts as needed, such as Business Requirements Documents and Use Cases.
- Experience in using enterprise-wide requirements definition and management systems and methodologies are required.
- Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Work independently with users to define concepts and under direction of project managers
- Drive and challenge business units on their assumptions of how they will successfully execute their plans
- Strong analytical skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
- Serves as the conduit between the internal customer community and the software development team through which requirements flow.
- Develop requirements specifications per standard templates, using natural language.
- Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs.
- Be the liaison between the business units, technology teams and support teams.
- Coordinate activities of business and IT colleagues, as required
- Demonstrated ability to analyze, define and prioritize business problems, develop business cases, define business value, and identify appropriate process and technology solutions
- Program/Project Management Domain Expertise
- Microsoft Project & MSP Server Tool (use and configuration)
- Strong presentation skills
- Strong problem solving, estimation, and decision making ability
- Strong facilitation, meeting/workshop management, and change management skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to take initiative to improve business and IT processes and solutions.

- Local preferred but Non local is also fine as long as they are good to come for face to face on their own expenses.

- Key to this role: Someone who is technical and Project server expert, confirguration, administration, have been BA, project cordinators. Should have Excellent communication skills. Candidate must have Handson MSPS experience. Should not be a projet manager, program manager, sharepoint developer. Must have prior Merck or Pharma experience.
