Job Title: .NET Developer
Location: South Portland, Maine

Summary:
Our client is seeking a .NET developer to join the IT team. The candidate will develop and support both internal and external web applications and automated business processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Gather requirements and design solutions based on customer needs
- Participate as a team member in feature planning and design
- Collaborate with team to develop applications
- Testing and quality assurance prior to user acceptance testing
- Implementation, support and ongoing maintenance for developed applications.
- Document technical details as well as user information.
Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate would have 5+ years of experience of .NET development. The candidate will be participating in all stages of the SDLC. They should also show a desire to learn and grow in their skills.
- Must have working knowledge of HTML, C# or VB, ASP.NET, JavaScript and CSS
- Ability to effectively communicate with end users and develop solutions to meet their needs
- The preferred candidate will have SQL Server skills (stored procedures, T-SQL, SSRS)
- ASP.NET MVC, jQuery, AJAX, DotNetNuke, Salesforce.com, APEX and Microsoft Azure are a plus
- Xamarin development experience preferred
Education and or Experience:
- The preferred candidate would have an undergraduate degree in Computer Science/Software
- Engineering or equivalent business experience.
