Job Description:
Role: OVM DB Admin
Skills / Technologies:
- 5-8 years of Oracle DBA experience
- 3-5 years of experience in Oracle VM, Hypervisor on Oracle PCA and the Oracle ZFS appliances
- Experience in Production support environment
- Experience in Data-guard, OEM, RAC and RMAN tasks.
- Perform Day-to-day operational tasks that include storage management & security management.
- Experience with Oracle RAC and Oracle grid a HUGE plus
- Experience on PL/SQL
- Ability to understand the environment and start supporting it in very short time.
- Good Understanding of ITIL processes
Desired Skills
- Oracle DBA in 11g, 12C, 13C grid
- Oracle migration (Data Pump, RMAN, Standby, etc)
- Oracle Data guard configuration
- Oracle Enterprise Linux Administration; v6.x or higher
- OS Security Administration: User/Group setup, PAM & SSH settings
- Hypervisor Configuration & Administration; Oracle VM Hypervisor administration, preferred
- NAS Device Administration, Oracle ZFS SA preferred.
- Server scanning, hardening & compliance remediation (i.e., OpenScap scanning & remediation)
- LDAP/SSSD configuration – Active Directory integrations
- Basic understanding of network architectures and solutions (routers, vLANS, firewalls), preferred
- Experience with Unix Scripting.
