Short Description:

The Product Specialist is the expert for a product . This resource will support the Office of Child Nutrition in its efforts related to the transition from the existing CRRS.asp application to Colyar's new .NET version of the application.

 

Complete Description:

The primary responsibility of the Product Specialist is to ensure the availaibility and facilitate the productive use of the CRRS product for end users. The Product Specialist is responsible for collaborating with the assigned Business Analyst, System Specialists, Programmers and vendors to ensure and enhace the use of the product and effect migration to new versions of the product. For this engagement, specifically, the CRRS Product Specialist will be required to perform the following functions:

-              Assist Business Analyst with requirements and design of CRRS.net

-              Assist Business Analyst with gap analysis of CRRS.asp and CRRS.net

-              Review current CRRS reports with Business Office and determine which are needed, which need updated, and what reports can be deleted

-              Act as the liaison between the Business Office and Colyar Consulting Group regarding the current CRRS issues, enhancements, and tasks

-              Oversee the day to day operation of the current CRRS system and assist the new Management Analyst Supervisor of Operations when needed

Years of Relevant Experience:

1 to 2 years

Preferred Education:

4 year college degree or equivalent technical study.

•Make sound recommendations on functional and technical improvements to the product.

•Analyze the functional and technical impact of product planning decisions.

•Develop appropriate functional and usability standards for products.

•Track and document expected volume and type of use of the product.

•Participate in product design reviews to verify that design meets quality standards and functional/technical requirements.

•Perform impact analyses on production fixes and enhancements to establish priorities.

•Provide basic product support and provide accurate and complete answers to detailed product questions in a timely manner.

•Provide effective on-site product support as needed.

•Accurately sets severity of identified defects.

•Provide input to training and / or documentation materials regarding latest technical and functional design changes.

•Document all work for future reference.

•Review the system test approach and conditions used as the basis for detailed test scenarios.
