As a Senior Technical Architect you will be responsible to :
• Evaluate existing applications for their readiness for migration
• Recommend customization to fit migration strategy
• Design and deliver high quality integration solutions that satisfy enterprise requirements
• Work with Enterprise cloud migration team and define massive scale, high quality migration factories.
• Define application migration strategy to AWS.
• Define data migration to AWS.
• Identify and define Cloud Infrastructure architecture.
• Work to address architecture differences or conflicts existing across the various architecture layers in the enterprise.
• Oversee migration activities. Guide migration team and help resolve technical obstacles.
• Define sunset strategy for in house applications post migration.
Qualifications:
• Understanding and hands on experience on various AWS cloud services.
• Extensive experience in architecting, designing and migrating workloads to an AWS Cloud environment including but not limited to AWS Lamda, AWS Migration services and storage services.
• Experience in Node JS, Java Spring Boot.
• Experience in a range of migration discovery, profiling, migration, and operations technologies and tools.
• Depth in various migration techniques such as rehost, refactor, rearchitect, replatform, repurchase, etc.
• Experience architecting highly available systems that utilize load balancing, horizontal scalability and high availability.
• BS level technical degree or equivalent experience. Computer Science or Engineering background preferred. Master’s Degree desired.
• 5 plus years of experience as a technical specialist in Customer-facing roles.
• 5 plus years of application programming experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.
• Experience in Agile execution and Dev Ops would be preferred.
