Senior ETL Developer - Parsippany, NJ - Six month contract
Designs and creates the Extract, Transform and Load jobs for Data Warehouse
Communicates designs and technical requirements with technical teams and lead the technical implementation of the overall system
Represents engineering team in project meetings and solution discussions
Reviews System requirement documents prepared by
Guides and leads the creation of the system and detailed technical design. The candidate will assist with and is responsible for sound detailed design
Reviews proposed solutions and guide other resources through an efficient, high performant and secure implementation adhere to industry best practices and standards
Works with Multiple Associate Technical Leads and other Technical Leads across multiple systems to achieve project goals for a project.
Communicates with the project team, support teams and strategic partners effectively to achieve the project and solution goals
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications
BS in Computer Science/Information Systems or related field and/or equivalent experience
Master's Degree in Computer Science preferred
12+ years of related technical work experience in the implementation of complex, large scale, enterprise wide projects including analysis, design, development and delivery.
10+ years of experience with Informatica ETL
10+ years of Data warehouse and BI experience.
8+ years of architect and lead level experience in Informatica in implementing large scale platforms.
In-depth experience with Informatica PowerCenter / Enterprise PowerCenter Grid.
Informatica Cloud and iPaaS experience is preferred
Strong experience leading multi-site and/or off-shore development teams.
Experience with various software development estimation techniques.
Must have in-depth knowledge of data best practices
Must have a background and knowledge in enterprise data strategy and/or information architecture
Ability to understand BI Reporting Requirements and warehouse ER diagrams.
Proven record of complex business requirements handling.
Strong Database & Performance Tuning Knowledge
SME for all ETL/Informatica related design and implementations.
