Job Duties/Requirements:
Create and maintain Cognos reports and work on Cognos framework development. Must have experience
with Cognos 10 or higher. Moving to Cognos 11 (analytics). This position is responsible for the Cognos
development environment, which includes the following applications: Costpoint, Time and Expense, Gov
Win, TM1 and ad-hoc data sources. The report writer is responsible for the design, development, testing
and a maintenance of complex corporate reports used to analyze financial data and other key metrics to
meet the needs of the organization. Other tasks may Include: monitoring daily jobs and running month
end processes.
A key objective of this role is to provide engineering, design and developmental insight for the team in
building an enterprise level data analytics platform using the industry standard concepts against our
Data Warehouse, Data Lake, and Big Data environment. Develop, architect, standardize and support
technology platforms using Industry leading BI/Reporting solutions like IBM Cognos. Interact directly
with users to architect and design our solutions
Education Requirements for the Position
The minimum qualification required for the performance of the above specialty occupation duties is a
Bachelor’s Degree or Higher or Foreign Equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field with related experience.
