Duration: 6+ months, extension possible
Experience with the business procedures for Vital Records or EMRs is required. Experience in the electronic office management information systems applications is also preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Will be responsible to update the Electronic Vital Records Systems Inventory This information should be captured in an Excel spreadsheet.
- Evaluation of the Vital Records systems and state information system using the IT Specifications. You only need to evaluate vendor systems and the System, no home-grown systems need to be evaluated.
- detailed evaluation to identify the number of required enhancements based on the Vital Records needs.
- Final report with a recommendation with justification of selecting a canned system
- create a single view of data from many sources
- improve customer service by allowing all documents to be issued from anywhere in the state
- allow the collection of data from multiple devices
- promote secured data sharing
- strengthen healthcare delivery and advance health outcomes, and expand research innovation
- 1+ years experience with Vital records
- 5+ years experience as a Business Analyst - solutions focused
- Knowledge of Electronic Registration Systems
- Ability to evaluate software
- Ability to develop a strategy for the Office of Vital Records.
