Job Responsibilities:

• Setup Access in Microfocus for end users.
• Install & Configure "Microfocus Enterprise Server  x.x" servers(QA and PROD)
• Install & Configure "Microfocus Enterprise Developer x.x"(Development)
• Upgrade "Microfocus Enterprise Server  x.x" servers(QA and PROD) Application.
• Coordinate testing for Hotfix/patch with App teams in QA
• Install Hotfix/patch on Prod Microfocus servers.
• Configure Database & Microfocus Connectivity.
• Enable diagnostic traces on Micro Focus for troubleshooting.
• Rebuild catalog files incase of corruptions.
• Enable VSAM file permissions.
• Support job Abend issues
• Support application access issues.
• Support DB & Microfocus connectivity.
• Verifying all Infra related MF services.
• Microfocus weekly maintenance activity.
• Plan Hotfix/upgrade with App & Vendor(all 3 env.)
• Work on Microfocus Dev/QA issues.
• Work on file copying requests.
• Incident, Change, Problem & Service Request Management.
• Monitoring of complete Microfocus application environment.
• Coordination with other teams(Wintel & Microfocus vendor)
