Provide the Network Engineer skills in support of the Information Technology Division's Network Management department, specifically regarding the design, testing and deployment of Microsoft UAG/Direct Access. Primarily in support 7 Remote Access Solution

Network Engineer     

Years of Experience:

12 or more years of experience in the field

Job Description:

•             Analysis of current UAG/DA Pilot Infrastructure (software and hardware configuration)

•             Recommend changes and implementation Microsoft UAG/Direct Access

•             Verify connectivity with Windows 7 clients and test all SCC applications as required

•             Knowledge transfer of work done through documentation and training

Fundamental requirements:

•             Advanced knowledge of Active Directory Group Policy

•             IPV6, PKI, Domain Infrastructure knowledge as needed for UAG/Direct Access Implementation

•             Advanced knowledge of Microsoft UAG (formerly ISA).  Installation, administration and implementation.

•             Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Direct Access

•             Advanced working knowledge of and 8 years or more experience as network engineer of Microsoft Windows

                   Server and Microsoft desktop related technologies.

•             Microsoft Certification (MCSE) desirable but not required.

•             HP Proliant and Blade Matrix servers

•             VMWare ESXi 5.0 managed with VSphere VCenter Server v5

•             HP Storage Area Networks (MSA1000,2000, EVA 4400, P6300, and Direct Attached Storage)

•             DS-3 telecommunications, WAN, LAN, VLAN
