- 7+ years work experience in a senior network engineering position
- Research problem information to proactively identify trends and potential sources of new problems and use this information to proactively address these issues to ensure that they do not repeat.
- Analyze alerts and infrastructure systems to ensure maximum performance, efficiency, and availability.
- Working knowledge of Windows Server 2008, 2012, VMware ESX
- Ability to design, configure, implement, upgrade, manage, and troubleshoot Routers and Switches, VPN connections, Firewalls, and Wireless Access Points
- Analyze infrastructure usage and plan for growth or increases in system capacity.
- Identify and resolve problems affecting the infrastructure performance, efficiency, and availability in a timely manner.
- Identify automation opportunities and assist in their implementation across our global infrastructure.
- Resolve incidents when necessary as an escalation point and documenting designs, process and procedures.
- Superior understanding of network routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP and MPLS)
- Experience with Cloud networking (AWS and Azure)
- Experience with QoS and performance monitoring tools.
- Hands on experience with Cisco ASA 55xx
- Over eight years of Information Technology & Communications Security administration experience
- CCNP or higher certification desired
- Cisco and Aruba Wireless LAN (Wi-Fi) controllers and access points
- Experience with Meraki Wireless LAN Cloud
- Design, build, and configure Cisco ASA, Routers and Switches (IOS, IOS-XR, NXOS)
- Routing Protocols – OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, L2 / L3 Architecture and Design Multicast, QoS
- Manage firewall rules, adding nodes, services, rules, and troubleshooting
- PCI Compliance experience is a plus
- Extensive VOIP skills with a minimum of 2 - 3 years' experience.
