This individual will serve as the Manager providing technical oversight of an agile team developing Next Generation digital technology platform, including ecommerce web sites, mobile applications, and marketing technology. As a Technical Manager you will:
Lead Agile inceptions, document technical work in technical stories, and estimate (using agile points/story sizing techniques) the work effort required to complete those stories.
Act as Scrummaster, leading all agile rituals including daily standups, iteration planning, story huddles, retrospectives and creation of burn up charts. Ensure that all work is captured in Jira.
Provide development leadership based on in - depth product and technical knowledge with some hands on development using ecommerce and mobile technologies like Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Fastly, Akamai, React, Node.js.
Oversee/coordinate supporting technical infrastructure work required for project with IT infrastructure team.
Oversee the work of developers, architects, and QAs to ensure that agile stories being played support the release plan defined by the product owner and are delivered with high quality.
Work with program manager to ensure technical execution risks & issues are captured and mitigated.
Lead team in development of QA/testing strategy approach (unit, system, functional, integration, performance)

Requirements:

BA/BS or equivalent experience working in some capacity with the Software Development Life Cycle.
5 years in front and back end web and mobile app development required, preferably both doing custom development and using a product like magento or salesforce commerce cloud.
Experience leading technical teams in an Agile environment is required; Scrummaster certification desirable.
Ability to write SQL, Python, C#, and/or other domain-specific coding.
Experience with content delivery networks such as Fastly and Akamai preferred.
Experience with tag management solutions such as google tag manager, Signal or Tealium desirable.
Experience integrating ecommerce platforms with marketing technology platforms such as Marketo desirable.
Experience integrating ecommerce platforms with creative and or product information management solutions such as Adobe creative cloud and Salsify desirable.
Experience with web analytics solutions such as google analytics or Adobe Analytics desirable.
7-9 years total work experience
3-5 years developing and architecting solutions, with hands on experience.
Ability to translate business stories into technical design and document work in technical stories.
Learns quickly when facing new problems, enjoys the challenge of unfamiliar tasks, and is willing to experiment and try anything to find solutions.
