We are looking for a Program Manager/Scrum Master who will be responsible for simultaneously leading multiple teams and to deliver value added features through several agile methodologies including SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, XP, etc. The "Scrum Master" will develop an understanding of the teams' dynamics, process maturity, and his/her work to help optimize their delivery flow by facilitating SAFe PI planning events, sprint planning, stand-ups, sprint reviews and the sprint retrospectives.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent of education and experience
- 4+ years of experience as a Scrum Master on projects using Agile software development methods, e.g., Lean and Scrum. SM & SAFe certified as a (SM) or (SPC) is a plus.
- Experience working with software development teams, Jira and other tools to implement Scrum Processes is required.
- Knowledge of Servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency is needed.
- Incumbent must have experience working with User Experience (UX) design practices in an Agile/Scrum environment and possess a deep Lean-Agile knowledge.
- Must have a thorough understanding of Agile techniques and methodologies: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games, values, procedures and ceremonies.
- Must also excel at applying a wide variety of patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach (i.e., numerous burn down techniques, numerous Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc.).
- Incumbent must have excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse personality types.
- Must understand technical issues at a high level. Strong writing, communication and facilitation skills are required.
- Exceptional organization and time management skills are needed. Ability to coach the team to reach their highest potential is required.
- Must possess a collaborative approach to driving decisions.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a high attention to detail is required.
- Ability to take initiative, manage own workload, and assume responsibility for tasks is needed.
- Must be able to multi-task, handle multiple projects, and meet internal and client deadlines.
