Detailed Job Description:
Developing and implementing the following standards:
- Building a technical and security architecture in Azure for selected apps/workloads
- Lead assessments with the clients on designed Azure architecture
- Selecting migration approaches to moving existing applications from on-prem to Azure or architecting a greenfield development platform for new applications
- Keeping up to date on latest Azure and complimentary cloud offerings
- Assisting with DevOps Implementation, tooling and process
- Test Azure standards that impact methodology
- Work with Development Architects to help implement Cloud technologies
Good knowledge of the following technologies: •
- Azure, Azure Resource Management, Azure Functions
- NET framework, including ASP.NET development, Windows Forms, WCF, WPF
- Powershell
- C#, VB.NET
- SQL Server 2008, 2012 and/or 2014
- TFS (Team Foundation Server 2010 >) or VSTS
- Automated Deployments to multiple environments
- MS System Center
