Detailed Job Description:
- Creation, integration, maintenance, and Tier3 support of DevOps build tools in High Availability (HA) configurations using Chef and related technologies for deployment in a cloud infrastructure for Digital Aviation (DA).
- The build tools will be deployed in multiple regions and configured for Disaster Recovery requirements (DR).
- Team will operate using Scaled Agile Methodology.
Build tools in scope:
- Gitlab Server
- Artifactory Server
- Jenkins Server
- Chef Server
- Chef Supermarket Server
- SonarCube
Minimum years of experience*: 5+
Responsibilities you would expect the Subcon to shoulder and execute*:
- Creation and maintenance of chef cookbooks in line with DA architecture
- Creation and maintenance of monitoring queries for alerting when service is failing (e.g., OMS, Azure Monitor Service).
- Creation and maintenance of inspec/rspec tests to validate for desired state configuration (DSC).
- Creation and maintenance of documentation to enable Tier1/Tier2 teams support of build tools
- Tier3 support for build tools
Qualifications
- Technical bachelor's degree.
- A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study.
