Are you an experienced XML and XSLT developer?\xa0 Do you have a background in technical writing /publishing or content management systems?\xa0 Are you able to jump into existing code and make it your own?\xa0 Then join us at xxxxxxx, where we're looking for a developer to help us maintain and expand our XML authoring, CMS, and publishing tools to support a growing technical content development organization.\xa0

You Have:

• Strong XML, XPath/XQuery and XSLT development skills.
• A working knowledge of the Darwin Information Typing Architecture (DITA) and the DITA Open Toolkit (DITA-OT).\xa0
• Experience creating custom DITA-OT plugins.
• Familiarity with the Java programming language.
• Experience with one or more Component Content Management Systems (CCMS)
• Strong customer service skills
• Effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A four year degree in a Computer Science, Information Systems, related field, or equivalent experience.

You Might Also Have:

• Familiarity with XML editing tools such as oXygen.
• A background in managing/configuring/customizing customer-facing Content Management Systems to which DITA content is published.
• Experience developing/configuring authoring templates and forms for subject matter experts (SMEs) to easily leverage for content creation.
• Familiarity with Schematron, Subject Scheme, or other means to streamline the DITA authoring experience.
