- At least 3 years of production deployment and support experience
- At least 3 years of experience in working with all Teradata utilities
- At least 3 years of experience in deploying and monitoring Teradata jobs
- At least 3 years of experience in Managing & reviewing Teradata log files.
- Client-facing and strong communication skills.
- Understanding of Teradata architecture and design.
- Proven expertise in deploying Teradata components/jobs and cluster monitoring
- Proven expertise in handling primary and secondary on-call support
- Proven analytical and problem solving skills
- Experience with implementation methodologies
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral; Ability to build and deliver presentations to all levels of the business and effectively explain complex issues and concepts in simple, understandable language
- Ability to mentor and lead a team of consultants
- Ability to work under minimal supervision
- Effective verbal, presentation, and written communication skills
- Responsible for deploying and monitoring Teradata jobs in all environments like DEV, QAT and Prod.
- Responsible for Environment maintenance, Job Monitoring, Troubleshooting, Manage and review data backups.
- Manage & review Teradata log files.
- Helping the users in production deployments throughout the process.
- As an admin followed standard Back up policies to make sure the high availability of cluster.
- Involve in Analyzing system failures, identifying root causes, and recommend course of actions. Document the systems processes and procedures for future references.
- Contribute to knowledge capital via project documentation and best practice solutions
- Lead and Mentor off shore team
- Maintain and grow knowledge of BI functionality and technical skills
