Must Have:
Strong background in white box testing and automation test script creation using a programming language (such as C++, C#, Tcl, Expect, Java, PHP, Perl, Power-shell, Python, or Ruby).
Skills:
Min 5 years of experience working with web-based and enterprise manufacturing applications.
Familiarity of cGMP and manufacturing regulations applicable to the FDA is highly recommended.
Strong communication skills and attention to detail are essential, as is the ability to quickly learn new applications and technologies.
Candidate should be confident in his/her ability to articulate and document test-findings in a centralized bugs database for all development/management teams to review.

Duties:
Working closely with the Project Manager the duties include and are not limited to:
Creates and executes software test plans and cases to ensure the programs and applications that are utilized to order, manufacture and ship products are of high quality and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Works with development, quality and manufacturing teams to create and/or modify test cases, procedures and plans to ensure that manufacturing processes, equipment and/or products that are being created meet required standards.
Will work closely with the development team to develop automated test cases to support regression testing.
Participates in new product introductions and works the development and implementation teams.
Performs ad-hoc system testing, commenting on usability issues, reporting bugs relating to the application, verifying bug fixes provided by developers, and taking appropriate action based on the correctness of the bug fixes.
Documenting all aspects of testing through the use of electronic project extranets, written minutes, change request forms, and other means of documentation.
Tracks and creates issues that are identified as a result of test execution and quality reviews.
Work with our on-site business leaders and customers to make sure that the new requirements and the developed solutions are being meant.
Works on problems of diverse scope in which analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
Requires strong, persuasive communication skills both verbally and in writing.
May be required to perform other related duties as required and/or assigned by management.
Education:
A Bachelors/Master’s degree in a technical discipline is preferred but will consider molecular biology, chemistry, biochemistry, microbiology, engineering or related discipline.
