The State of Delaware, Department of Technology and Information (DTI), is the central IT department for the State. DTI is seeking contractual support to assist with Enabling Excellence in Delaware State Government through IT initiatives. This position is central to the delivery of IT services to numerous Delaware state entities, and thereby to the citizens of Delaware. DTI is an innovative agency seeking individuals that are fast learners with excellent communication and problem solving skills, and able to work with minimal supervision as part of a multidisciplinary team. Principal responsibilities include the planning, requirements, design, coding, testing, debugging, system integration, and documenting of software components of complex, multi-tier government systems.
Years of Relevant Experience: 8 plus years
Preferred Education: 4 year college degree or equivalent technical study with advanced study preferred.
Role Description:
This is a programming position that requires technical aptitude in full lifecycle development in C# and VB.NET.
This consultant should have extensive experience in development of new systems and applications.
