Responsibilities you would expect the Subcon to shoulder and execute*:

Should be conversant with Strategies which includes discovery, planning, assessment, design, deployment and implementation.
Should have complete end - to-implementation experience which includes Core Platform Operations (Server, Operating system, Storage, Network,etc).
Should have Hands-on experience on Database Clusters & Alwayson
Handle common database procedures such as upgrade, backup, recovery, migration, etc.
Ensure performance, security, and availability of databases
Profile server resource usage, and optimize and tweak as necessary
Hardware sizing and Capacity planning(BOM), Environment Plan - Design, Build, Support, Maintenance
Familiar with tools that can aid with profiling server resource usage and optimizing it
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git / Jenkins
Should have knowledge on auto deployment – CICD process, Devops and tools, Monitoring - Availability, performance monitoring, and/or health status
Should have end-to-end knowledge around HA, Failover, DR

Education level and Type:

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution

Skills:

Technical skills: Web-logic/Jetty Admin, Retail Apps DBA skill (ver 17,18), Oracle Database(11g/12c), Linux/Unix, Knowledge of OS administration, Storage, Virtualization and networking, MS SQL DBA
