Responsibilities:

  • Support the organization in the gathering and definition of business requirements
  • Support/participation in RFI, RFP, RFQ and organizing/conducting workshops, plant walkthroughs
  • Lead the team for the Orals or presentation of a solution proposal as part of bidding process for any RFP
  • Participate and drive effectively workshops related to Process Design, business process definitions, blue-printing, solution architecture etc. for a new program/project
  • Able to confidently interact with client senior executives and explain complex, technical issues in a clear and concise manner.
  • Lead client global MII roll out programs by conducting plant walkthrough, understand As-Is processes, propose to-be manufacturing processes and KPIs based on industry best practices along with SAP MII Product fitment
  • Own and oversee the evolution of the solutions and provide technical leadership in the rollout to global production sites and various business units, identifying any local requirements / gaps, but driving towards common processes and standard solutions
  • Develop peer, cross-functional & cross relationships to maximize best practice sharing & team effectiveness
  • Manages daily activities, issue resolution and communication across project execution teams in order to deliver projects on-time, on-budget, as-requested by customer
  • Identify and analyze project and technical risks & impacts relating to data conversion; define alternatives & prioritizations to remove roadblocks
  • Support the project team and ensure completion of tasks, milestones, and components including but not limited to: design specifications, development, configurations, quality assurance, implementations, and reviews

Skills Set:

  • Must have hands on expertise in implementation of SAP ME/MII applications in at least couple of versions – V12.X or 14.X and 15.X
  • Should have sound knowledge and implemented advanced SAP ME and MII concepts such as MDO, PIC, KPI Library, SAP OEE Solution, UI5 development, Basis for SAP MII, to name a few
  • Use of SAP MII with HANA as DB
  • Basic knowledge of HANA – MII integration in a HANA driven ERP environment
  • Knowledge of SAP EWM integration with SAP MII leveraging SAP Plant Connectivity
  • Basic knowledge for SAP functional modules such as SAP PP, SAP QM, SAP EWM and SAP PM
  • Must have worked on at least 2 full cycle SAP MII implementation experience (Installation, Solution Design, Configuration/Customization, Integration Testing, Package Deployment and In-Life maintenance) across any industry domain (Automotive, Aerospace or Discrete Manufacturing – Desirable)
  • Must have high level of expertise with Relational Database like MS-SQL Server 2008, Oracle 9i and above; should have good experience in database performance tuning & archival methods
  • Should have good functional knowledge of overall SAP ECC components and its integration with SAP MII, well versed with integration using iDOCS
  • Experience in XML technologies – XSD, XSLT
  • Exposure to various Reporting System (i.e. Business Objects, SQL Reports, Crystal Reports)
  • Operating Systems Microsoft Windows Server 2010/08, Windows XP, Vista and 7
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentational communication skills
