Must Have Skills:
- Experience of 5+ years in Windows Server Build and application deployment
- Experience in areas such as Windows Administration (2008/2012, Security, Net backup, load balancers, IIS, Microsoft SQL servers)
- VMware/Citrix 6.5 knowledge
- Knowledge of Change Management / ITIL processes
- Understanding of hardware components such as HP blade, HP proliant
Skills Desirable:
- Scripting knowledge
- Installation / configuration /migration /deployment/ tuning of Enterprise Applications using WebSphere Application server 6.0/5.0/4.0
- Good communication and customer facing skills
- Understand solutions/alternatives to customer proposed solution for environment setup and suggest changes
- Knowledge on MS Visio/MS PowerPoint
- Designs backup policies, procedures & schedules based on best practice & customer requests
Detailed Job Description:
- Windows server administration experience with good exposure with Logical volume Manager
- Good knowledge of VMWARE & related products
- Performance tuning
- Root cause analysis and Problem management
- Fair knowledge of networking, TCP, UDP, RPC etc.
- Disk Management, User management.
- Experience on application deployment, configuration
