The Project Manager Scheduler supports the Project Management Office for the Modernization project.
Complete Description:
The Project Manager Scheduler is a member of the Project Management team. The Project Manager Scheduler is ultimately responsible to the agency. The Project Manager Scheduler must ensure that the program is completed on schedule and that the final product meets the business, technical, and established quality requirements.
Preferred Education: 4 year college degree or equivalent technical study. A minimum of 5 years of advanced administrative support experience preferably in large project management environments. Advanced information and task organizations skills. Demonstrated oral and written communication skills. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment. Proficient in Microsoft Project, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook.
Years of Relevant Experience: 7 plus years
Role Description:
•Assist the Project Management Team as necessary.
•Review, develop, and update project management schedules and plans for use by internal and external stakeholders.
•Monitor and review any status reports and track the progress of review and approval cycle.
•Monitor and track comment cycle of project deliverables.
•Prepare project Status reports for the Sponsors, State Project management team, and others, as prescribed.
•Work with the State Project Director and project staff on updating and refreshing all project documentation.
•Communicate verbally and in writing to multiple project stakeholders internal and external to the organization.
•Design and prepare project communications and announcements.
•Coordinate project tracking and reporting.
•Track and Report on project deliverables.
•Track and Report on project budget.
•Track and Report on status, risks, issues, budget and other areas as needed.
•Schedule project meetings.
•Perform other duties as assigned.
