Detailed Job Description:

  • Looking for candidates with application support (Java and .Net based applications) experience (8+ Years) with good verbal and written communication
  • Strong working knowledge of - Object Oriented programming concepts in JAVA, Python and middle ware technologies including Web Services, Web APIs and Messaging Queues (MQ).
  • Expertise in Structured Query language (SQL) to code/understand complex Stored Procedures and queries using RDBMS concepts in DB2, SYBASE and SQL-SERVER.
  • Hands on knowledge of latest technology tools like SPLUNK, APPDYNAMICS, DYNATRACE,APICA, IPSOFT, EXTRAHOP, WATCHTOWER.
  • Understanding and ability to adapt to traditional SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and latest AGILE methodologies.
  • Experience in coordinating application outages with different teams (Development, Database Admins & Infrastructure etc.) and ensure that they are resolved as per the SLAs and quality expectations. Also ensure that all the stake holders are made aware of the impact and a proper communication is passed on resolution progress.
  • Experience in Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) service processes.
  • Incident/ Outage Management - restore interruptions in service
  • Problem Management - prevent the recurrence problems and incidents
  • Change Management - ensures that services remain scalable and reliable as business needs change
  • Event Management - coordinate events like Disaster Recovery, Server migrations, Database Upgrades
