JOB DESCRIPTION:

Looking for experienced Mainframe Database Administrator to assist with backfilling current staff in ongoing non-prod production support activities.

This role is for a Senior DBA with strong BMC Change Manager usage skills as opposed to BMC CM installation experiences.

Tasks to Client initially: 

DB alterations in non-Prod

Non-Prod database rebuilds using BMC Change Manager migrate profiles and worklists

Restructuring multi-table tablespaces, adding indexes, etc.

Non-Prod and Prod REORGs

SQL reviews and Performance Tuning

REQUIRED SKILLS:     

DB2v8 experience (or v9, v10), including extensive experience in online utility usage (REORG, REBUILD, RUNSTATS, etc.)     Senior  4 to 6

BMC utility tool suite usage (Change Manager, LogMaster, Copy Plus, Recovery Manager, DASD Manager, Apptune and SQL Explorer)    Senior  4 to 6
