Roles and Responsbilities:
- Microsoft .Net developer using Microsoft VB. Strong SQL skills using Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle DB or Other relational database.
- Experience writing stored procedures, triggers and ODBC.
- Experience converting older Microsoft, .net Applications to newer versions of Microsoft. Net
- Experience with ASP applications preferred for conversion purposes.
- Experience in migrating applications from 2008, 2012 to 2016
- Design, Develop and maintain applications based on system and user requirements using .Net technology.
- Analyzes business needs and defines and create software solutions
- Resolve customer issues with software solutions and responds with suggestions for improvements and enhancements
- Provide technical problem resolution for complex problems without assistance.
- Ensure exceptional code quality and through unit testing on every newly developed feature.
- Contribute to improving the quality and design of existing code base.
- Interacts with business users, I/T Vendors and customers to define current and future application requirements.
- Mentor junior developers and influence adoption of best practices among peers.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, or closely related field with relevant experience.
