Detailed Job Description:

• 10+ years of experience on Hadoop Administration
• Experience in managing the Hadoop framework/platform and performing day to day operational work
• Experience in Solr, Ambari, Ranger, Hive, Spark to manage and support the environment
• Experience in Vertica/DB2/Oracle/SQL Server would be added advantage
• Security Components - AD, Kerberos, Knox, Ranger, encryption techniques on Hadoop.
• Hadoop Services Log Analysis
• Experience in Solr Administration in secure environment
• Experience in HDFS snapshots and DR solutions in HDP
• Knowledgeable about integration of third party client tools to connect to Hadoop Platform.
• Working with developers and ETL team to improve their LOAD performance.
• RHEL knowledge, Administration level preferred.
• Must have Shell Scripting experience and Agile environment is a plus
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and communication skills
