Complete Description:

Attention:   ODE is specifically looking for a resource that is strong in Erwin , data modeling , Business analyst skills (i.e. working with the customer to determine what requirements they need)  excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work independently or with supervision.,  DBA skills are 50 % of the necessary skill set.   

 

The Database Administrator is responsible for data analysis and database management. Database Administrators typically are involved in maintenance, enhancement, designing of data dictionaries, physical and logical database models, and performance tuning. Database Administrators have a range of skills and knowledge of the utilities and production tools used for data storage management to support the Application Team.

 

:

•Highly skilled at database design, installations, conversions.

•Responsible for database backup and recovery procedures, access security and database integrity, physical data storage design and data storage management.

•          Is involved in the gathering of requirements

•          Reviews the project documentation

•          Conducts reviews of the data model to support the application

•          Understands and identifies data that exists in other systems/data stores

•          Attends all status meetings during which data, data models, reports, Extraction Transformation Loads (ETLs), and data exchanges will be discussed

Experience designing and developing Oracle relational data models and generating related Database schemas.

 Experience as a  data analyst/modeler

Experience designing  relational data models including (but not limited to):

•          Interviewing business stakeholders and system users to identify important business data

•          Creating transactional data models to support on-line web application

•          Documenting data lineage (source-to-target mappings), dependencies, and calculations that can lead to an ETL design and implementation

•          Identifying and designing views and/or materialized views as necessary

 Experience with designing databases schemas on Oracle  11g

experience creating logical and physical data models using ERwin 7.3

Demonstrated prior experience in similar engagements.

 Experience writing complex SQL queries and performing data analysis.

 Experience with Oracle Version 11g

 Experience using Microsoft SharePoint.

Experience using SCRUM Agile development methodologies (or SCRUM Master certification as equivalent).

 Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server

Goals-oriented proactive team player with the ability to multi-task and prioritize technical tasks in a fast-paced, professional environment.

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related field. Partial credit will be awarded for BS degree or higher in any field.
