Detailed Job Description:

• 8+ years IT experience in implementing Enterprise Data Warehousing and BI/Dash boarding solutions with 4+ years of experience in Tableau.
• Experienced in full software development lifecycle which includes project planning, requirement analysis, documenting, design, development, unit and integration testing.
• Hands-on professional with thorough knowledge of scripting, data source integration and advanced GUI development in Tableau.
• Experience with the design and development of Tableau visualization solutions.
• Experience with creation of users, groups, projects, workbooks and the appropriate permission sets for Tableau server logons and security checks.
• Dashboards and document designing experience.
• Strong DW-BI Skills; Data modeling and advanced Reporting experience.
• Advanced knowledge of reports performance optimization; Perform administrative and support activities across a multi-environment Tableau infrastructure including security administration, release management, troubleshooting and general systems maintenance.
• Create complex formulas and calculations within Tableau to meet the needs of complex business logic
• Good knowledge on Level of Detail Expressions & Web data connector
• Ability to write complicated yet efficient SQL queries and stored procedure
• Comfortable in manipulating and analyzing complex, high-volume, high-dimensionality data from varying sources
• Strong knowledge of Tableau server architecture and building qvds and qvws applying business rules and data validations.
• Excellent interpersonal communication Skills and technical documentation skills.
• Worked in Onsite-Offshore model, Knowledge transfer, Communicate time lines, progress, delays etc. back and forth from the team to the client and vice versa
• Batch optimization and automation
• Exposure to security features, data encryption and role based security using complex views
