• Four or more years of experience designing and documenting conversion strategies
• Four or more years of experience with data mapping from legacy to new PeopleSoft applications.
• Four or more years of experience developing test strategies and data validation strategies
• Two or more years of experience testing conversion activities and overseeing conversion teams responsible for coding
• Two or more years of experience working with functional and technical leads and supporting implementation and validation tasks
• Six or more years of experience using SQL, SQR and PS Query
• Four or more years of experience designing data conversion scripts
• Worked on at least two Oracle or PeopleSoft ERP implementation projects where candidate participated in a variety of data conversion and validation tasks
• Two or more years of experience using Component Interface
• Two or more years of experience using Oracle SQL Loader
• Two or more years of experience using PeopleTools

Detailed Job Description:
Client has embarked on a Redesign Project to implement PeopleSoft Program and requires a Conversion Specialist to work with Client’ implementation vendors and the Application Development team to manage and execute application development efforts.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Designing and documenting conversion strategies
• Designing, building and testing data conversion routines involving large volume of data.
• Designing, building and testing data conversion routines involving large volume of data
• Data mapping from legacy to new PeopleSoft applications
• Developing test strategies and data validation strategies
• Testing conversion activities and overseeing conversion teams responsible for coding
• Working with functional and technical leads to support implementation and validationtasks
• Design data conversion scripts
• Using Oracle SQL Loader, SQL, SQR and PS Query
• Using PeopleTools - PeopleCode, Application Engine, Application Designer, Component Interface
• Using PeopleSoft North American Payroll Module (Ver 9.0 and above)

Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or equivalent in a related field or a foreign equivalent or closely related field with relevant experience
