• At least 6 years of Experience working in SQL Server databases
• Manage SQL Server databases
• Configure and maintain database servers and processes
• Monitor systems health and performance
• Ensure high levels of performance, availability, sustainability and security
• Analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time
• Provide suggestions for solutions
• Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes
• Assist developers with query tuning and schema refinement
• Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems
• Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours
• Experience working 24x7 on - call rotation with your team and respond to incidents; lead triage bridges during incidents and provide needed status updates
• Understanding of SLA requirements and role of high availability architectures, performance optimization, and monitoring techniques
• Experience with application instrumentation and monitoring
• Ability to review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and process and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.
• Detailed understanding of business continuity planning and disaster recovery.
• Demonstrate strong problem solving, communication, organizational time management and multi-tasking skills.
