Detailed Job Description:

  • In - depth knowledge in installing and configuring Windows server 2012 and Windows 2016
  • Deep experience Windows Tunables, server hardware, and installation processes
  • In-depth experience in Windows Active Directory Domain Services
  • Experience in working with Windows DNS server
  • Deep understanding and experience in computer network at the data link layer (OSI layer 2) / VLANs
  • High Level of experience with Windows patching processes and validation
  • Must have in-depth knowledge in installing Physical and Virtual Windows 2012 and Windows 2016 Servers
  • Candidate must be proficient in VMware ESX\Virtualization Technologies (ESX 5.0 or greater, Virtual Center, P2V tools)
  • Knowledge of the application and utilities of Windows server 2012 and Windows 2016
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP protocols, scripting, automation
  • Understanding of MS Server Roles
  • Deep working knowledge of NFS and NAS storage systems
  • Working in a secure/locked down Windows Server Environment
  • Knowledge of Group Policy
  • Windows PowerShell
  • Terminal Services and RDP expertise a must
  • A strong background with backup systems, both hardware and software is required. Familiarity with SAN-based and IP-based backup solutions.
