Key skills:

• Will be coding both front end with JavaScript and backend Javascript
• Will need to know node.js as they will be debugging Node.js
• Need to be able to write test cases in Selenium.
• Need to be really strong in Javascript, have Node.js, and Selenium.
• Senior enough in skills to be self-directed and code on their own without direction – they will also manage javascript developers but need to be able to code on their own!   Good team player, solid communication skills.
• Well-seasoned tester.
• Skills coding – their ability to code automated test sweep & do it in such a way that the team knows how to extend it.
• Code quality is extremely important – every word matters in terms of how it is written.
• A successful individual will have experience with following:
• 4-5 years of experience in JavaScript and Node.js.
• Full project testing lifecycle including test case creation, script development, manual testing, black box testing, and regression testing.
• Comfortable coding in Javascript/ES
• Automation skills and software suites including Selenium WebDriver, NUnit, Swagger UI, Postman, etc.
• Familiarity with build tools such as Jenkins.
• Relational databases and structures in a testing sense.
• Software engineering principles and RESTful web services.
• General networking and website/web service hosting using *nix and Node.js.
• Code version control using Git.
• Common testing practices in both a highly agile and long term project environment.
