Position Overview
The Sr. Web Applications Developer mentors other team members in development techniques, completes complex development tasks without supervision, creates quality, unit tested code in a timely manner. The Sr. Web Applications Developer must be able to estimate their work, review and challenge estimates of other members, and then takes ownership of ensuring the timelines are met.
The Sr. Web Applications Developer will use Microsoft Visual Studio and development platforms like .Net Framework, ASP.NET and MOSS 2007/SharePoint 2010. They must be able to lead small, project specific teams, and manage multiple development tasks with their priorities based on delivery dates and meet or exceed the goals.
Essential Job Functions
Duties and responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to leading and mentoring of other develop team members, application design, hands on analysis, development, code reviews, testing, and deployment of applications using Microsoft technologies.
Requirements
· Engineering, Computer Science or MIS degree with development courses preferred with at least 7 years of development experience that includes Microsoft technologies
· Technical Skills Required:
o Visual Studio - 5 yrs
o ASP.Net – 5 yrs
o C# - 5 yrs
o JavaScript - 5 yrs
o MOSS 2007, SharePoint, & SharePoint Services - 1 yr
o XML, SOAP & RESTful Web Services - 4 yrs
o SQL Server including SSRS - 5 yrs
