Responsibilities:
- Build web screens to capture/update/analyze complex electrophysiological data
- Incorporate raw data import feature
- Blend manually entered and imported raw data
- Build complex analysis features to process data through computations
- Interactive and iterative options to review computation results, perform QC, fix issues, and recompute
- Generate graphs/tables and other visualizations
- Leverage SQL Server to store data
- Builds software compliant with corporate IT standards (follows language-based best practices, submits code for peer reviews, follows change management process)
Skills:
- Advanced experience with R programming and building complex, modular, interactive applications in the R/Shiny framework
- Web development - UI & UX experience
- JavaScript frameworks React-Redux (strongly preferred) or Angular
- JQuery, JSON, AJAX, HTML5 & CSS3
- SQL Server database
- Ability to create complex online charts, graphs and dashboards (data visualizations in R)
- Azure DevOps (Git/TFS), or Atlassian stack
- Experience with web API services (JSON, REST)
Experience:
- Software development life cycle
- BA/BS in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics or related field
- Experience working with science teams, scientific data and data visualizations
