Detailed Job Description: 

  • Responsible for monitoring, triaging, resolving, escalating and communicating network incidents/outages as part of a 24x7x365 Department. 
  • Total Experience of > 7 years.
  • Perform third level incident outage triage, troubleshooting, and fix agent break fix actions on Cisco network infrastructure. 
  • Knowledge of IP stack protocols such as HTTP, FTP, TFTP, DNS, DHCP, TCP, UDP, SNMP, IGMP, PIM, ACLs, VRF's. 
  • Knowledge of routing protocols such as OSPF, EIGRP, BGP. 
  • Provide detailed documentation and summaries of incident/outage tickets. 
  • 1+ years Network Administration. 
  • Associate level network certification such as CCNA. 
  • Ability to work an extended and flexible 24x7 day and night work schedule is required.
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies in Cable/MSO environment
