Detailed Job Description:
- Work with architect group for solutions that articulate the business context, conceptual design and component-level logical design. Ensure development is in compliance with overall architecture vision for the platform and ensures specific components are appropriately designed and leveraged.
- Understand the construction of platform architecture components. Participate in design activities and own the development of the work assigned.
- Work closely with QA and integration team to resolve issues. Able to understand the technology roadmap and delivers cost effectiveness, business value, and competitiveness.
- Experience in designing, marking up, developing the UI of websites and/or web applications. Design/development relevant technology disciplines, implement solutions based on architecture and business requirements.
- Troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve issue and collaborate effectively within team and across teams (Mostly with QA and Support Team)
- Completes applications development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities; contributing to team meetings; Troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms.
- Technologies used: Java/J2ee, WebSphere, HIBERNATE, Struts 1.x and 2.x, Database, JUnit/Unit Testing frameworks, Drools 5, Maven, Jenkins GIT/Subversion, RAD and Agile Methodology.
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or equivalent in a related field or a foreign equivalent is required closely related field with relevant experience.
