Detailed Job Description:

• Strong technical skills in SQL, relational databases (Oracle required) and big data techniques. Knowledge of Cloud Computing preferred (Google Cloud Platform) 
• Programming language and operating system expertise, UNIX (strongly preferred), Python (strongly preferred), Java, C++, Perl or XML (nice to have)
• Experience writing complex queries with efficiencies in optimization
• Experience with integration of complex data sets and able to derive conclusions
• Expertise in design and development of data warehouses, BI solutions and other data systems
• Experience in various modeling techniques such as process, data and object modeling
• Experience developing and deploying applications in a multi-tier environment
• Experience in data analysis methodologies and processes and their linkages to other processes in the software development lifecycle
• Experience in full project lifecycle including all stages of design, development and implementation of custom applications as well as the deployment of packaged solutions
• Highly detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to multi-task and work in a very fast paced environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience in various data requirements elicitation, analysis and validation techniques
• Experience in JIRA and/or Scrum technologies is a plus
• Programming proficiency with analytical platform software and BI systems expertise, preferably Microstrategy, Tableau, Alteryx is a plus
• Experience in leading business users, and data analysts in data requirements gathering exercises is a plus
• Experience in writing transformation logic to do data cleansing and enrichment using Big query, SQL or pyspark, Unit/End to End testing and packaging it for deployment in production environment
• Knowledge of Cloud Computing (preferably Google Cloud Platform) 
• Knowledge of Shell scripting, Python is a plus as these are used for pipelining and API based data ingests
