Detailed job Description:

• 10+ years of relevant experience with Hadoop Administration (HDP & CDP)
• Candidate must have engineering level experience and expert in Hadoop administration 
• Experience in Hadoop installation, upgrades and migration (HDP to CDP) 
• Experience in managing the cluster using Ambari and Solr administration
• Experience in Hadoop Security (AD, Kerberos, Knox, Ranger, encryption techniques)
• Experience in HDFS snapshots and DR solutions
• Working experience in Shell Scripting
• Candidate must be Hadoop certified
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
• Must be able to work in 24x7 production support environment
• Participate in an on-call rotation for support of systems outside of normal business hours.

Preferred Qualifications:

• RHEL knowledge, administration level preferred
• MySQL, Vertica and MongoDB database administration is good to have
• Knowledgeable about integration of third party client tools to connect to Hadoop Platform

• Good Communication and Analytical skills
