Detailed Job Description:
  • Candidate must have a minimum of 10 years direct RACF experience including demonstrated skills with RACF architecture, z/OS system and security knowledge, JCL and 
  • batch processing, and DB2/RACF security controls.
  • Candidate will possess strong RACF and mainframe security architecture knowledge to work with existing RACF and Mainframe security staff.
  • Candidate must have working knowledge of zSecure Admin, Audit, Alert, Command Verifier and Access Monitor. Experience with zSecure CARLa language will be considered a plus. 
  • Required experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Visio and Outlook.
  • Preferred candidates will have experience with REXX, CLIST, SAS, ESP (Job Scheduling), and RACF digital certificates / PassTickets.
  • Candidate must possess strong team player and communication skills, be able to work with lines of business, developers and other technical groups.
  • Candidates will have a 4 year degree in Technology or Business Management or equivalent experience. Please note any security certifications such as CISSP, CISA in the candidate s possession. 
Skills and Expectations:
  • Design RACF controls to secure and monitor mainframe applications and system resources. These controls must comply with applicable company policies, standards and 
  • government regulations.
  • Performs changes, testing and implementation of RACF security definitions in accordance with established change management processes. 
  • Collects data and generates batch processes for security related reporting and auditing. 
  • Provides graphs and statistical information as requested by management
  • Must be able to follow management direction while demonstrating the ability to prioritize assignments.
  • Troubleshoots and tracks problem and incident tickets with vendors and clients.
  • Uses effective communication skills to collaborate with other team members and technical groups to identify, review and recommend changes to remediate security related risks and exposures.
